Do your research. Check out the Franchise and make sure you understand all the fees. The best franchise is the one with the lowest fees and the most patronage. Does Sonics get enough business? I never heard of Moes. There are plenty of fast food chains out there. If I were ever going to have another fast food establishement I would start my own and just make sure I protect the name so that no one else can use it. That way if it takes off I can start a franchise too. So many franchises require so much up front (money) and they have very tough rules. You have no freedom in what you offer or how you do business. The only good fact is it is all laid out for you and the ground work it done. What is really lacking in the fast food industry is Healthy Fast Food. Many are now beginning to jump on it though. People are getting tired of hamburgers or tacos every day. They want something like homecooked food that is nutritious and healthy. Good luck
