Yes. Marriotts in particular have moved away from the standard, we'll call it floral sheik, bedspread and replaced it with a thicker blanket and duvet. This enables Marriotts to wash almost every part of the bed everytime. Having worked in hotels for quite some time I have seen people bring their own sheets as well. As a precaution, if you do have allergies, I would recommend that you do this. That way you can be absolutely sure.
